About Dr. Isufi:
Keren Isufi-Moldoff, Psy.D., M.S.
Dr. Isufi is a Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Fellow gaining specialization in comprehensive pediatric neuropsychological assessment, with a focus on evaluating children with neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders, such as learning disabilities, attention and behavioral disorders (including ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, and emotional and mood concerns. Her clinical experience spans outpatient, hospital, school, and community settings, providing services to individuals across the lifespan with diverse developmental, cognitive, and emotional needs.
She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship at Rutgers University Biomedical and Health Sciences–University Behavioral Health Care in Newark, New Jersey, with clinical training in neuropsychological assessment, specialized behavioral therapies, inpatient milieu programming, and psychiatric consultation at University Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Isufi completed specialized neuropsychological externship training at Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Neurological Surgery and Northwell Health, Staten Island University Hospital, where she conducted evaluations for individuals with epilepsy, mild traumatic brain injury, post-concussion syndrome, diabetes, dementia, Parkinson's disease, Chiari malformation, brain tumors, and other medical and mental health conditions. She also completed a school psychology externship at the Union City, NJ, school district.
Dr. Isufi’s passion for understanding and supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental well-being began throughout her undergraduate studies in which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Education with elementary teaching certification and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the City University of New York (CUNY). Inspired by her experiences working with children in the New York City public school system, she went on to pursue and earn her doctorate degree in the School-Clinical Child Psychology program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Dr. Isufi also earned her master’s degree in school psychology. Upon completion of her doctorate degree, she was awarded the Ferkauf-Silverstein Award for Excellence in School-Clinical Child Psychology.
Alongside her clinical training, Dr. Isufi developed a strong interest in research as a means of advancing evidence-based practice and improving outcomes for children and families. Her research and scholarly work include publications and presentations across pediatric neuropsychology and cognitive rehabilitation. She is a contributing author on a publication exploring the use of ChatGPT in cognitive rehabilitation. Dr. Isufi has also presented posters at national conferences on topics including access to services for children with autism spectrum disorder, trends in assault-related pediatric concussions, and emotional symptom trajectories following mild traumatic brain injuries. In addition, she contributed to a book chapter on neuropsychological profiles in pediatric epilepsy, with a focus on evaluation, treatment, and multicultural considerations.
Beyond her clinical, academic, and research pursuits, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and cooking new healthy recipes.
