Frequently Asked Questions:
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, there are handicapped parking spaces immediately in front of the main entrance, and an elevator to the 2nd floor, across from the suite entrance. The restroom is also wheelchair-accessible.
How long do evaluations typically take?
We try to schedule evaluations in 1-3 sessions, based on your schedule and the energy-level and attention-span of the client. We do have weekend hours available, and so some clients are able to complete the process in a day, with scheduled break- and lunch-times.
When can I expect to receive the report?
We typically complete evaluation reports within 2-3 weeks after the last testing session, outside of any scheduling conflicts or time off.
Do you offer services in any foreign languages?
We offer services in English, Arabic, and German.
What can I expect in terms of insurance coverage and payment?
• Dr. Younes is a certified Medicare-provider. Although we do not participate with other insurance plans, we do generate a detailed invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You should check with your insurance company before our first appointment to see if they require any advance paperwork.
• For non-Medicare patients, we can discuss typical evaluation costs with you, which will depend on what types of questions you are seeking answers to (i.e., intellectual, neuropsychological, emotional/diagnostic, etc). Half of the fee is due at the first evaluation session, and half is due at the time you receive the report.
• We also complete Neuropsychological, Psychological, and Psychoeducational Evaluations in consultation to school districts, as well as 2nd opinion Child-Study-Team-type evaluations. These are typically funded through direct arrangement with the school district; however, the school district is typically the “client” in this case, and so, changes in the informed consent and confidentiality will be discussed with you and negotiated with the district. Similar third-party-payment arrangements can be made in forensic and other circumstances.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover debit and credit cards, as well as personal checks.
