About Leah Felder:
Leah Felder, Psy.D.:
Dr. Felder is a neuropsychology postdoctoral fellow at Mindful Assessments and Psychological Services (Permit #203-003). She graduated from Barnard College with a BA in English and earned her Psy.D. in School-Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare in Newark. In addition to her work as a postdoctoral fellow at Mindful Assessments, Dr. Felder provides psychodynamically-informed therapy to clients across the lifespan at Insight Psychological Group.

Dr. Felder has experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults in a range of settings, including outpatient, partial hospitalization, clinics, schools, and private practice. She has worked in community mental health centers, college counseling centers, and hospital settings, including Newark Beth Israel’s Metropolitan Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center and William Paterson University. Dr. Felder is trained to provide comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and forensic evaluations.

Dr. Felder is passionate about psychological assessment as a means of helping clients answer important questions about themselves. In particular, she believes that testing helps individuals gain clarity about their experience and receive recommendations and tools to best meet their needs. Dr. Felder is dedicated to developing a nuanced understanding of each client in order to best support them in all areas of functioning. She offers an empathic, person-centered, and collaborative approach with her clients. In her free time, Dr. Felder enjoys baking, spending time with her family, and being outdoors.
