About Leah Felder:

Leah Felder, Psy.D. :
Dr. Felder is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, schools, community clinics, college counseling centers, and private practice. Dr. Felder provides neuropsychological evaluations and therapy.
Dr. Felder graduated from Barnard College with a BA in English and earned her Psy.D. in School-Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare in Newark. She subsequently completed her postdoctoral training providing therapy at a group practice in New Jersey and conducting neuropsychological evaluations at Mindful Assessments.
Dr. Felder sees neuropsychological assessment as a means of helping clients answer important questions about themselves. She believes that testing helps individuals gain clarity about their experience and receive recommendations and tools to best meet their needs. Dr. Felder provides effective and compassionate care for each client. She is dedicated to developing a nuanced understanding of each client in order to best support them in all areas of functioning.
Dr. Felder also believes that therapy is an important avenue for individuals to gain clarity, learn more about themselves, and receive support. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family or relationship challenges, and life transitions. In her free time, Dr. Felder enjoys baking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
